HTMA

  • Do you often feel tired or fatigued despite getting enough sleep?

  • Have you experienced unexplained weight gain recently?

  • Do you frequently feel anxious or stressed?

  • Do you suffer from muscle cramps or spasms?

  • Do you have difficulty concentrating or experience brain fog?

It’s Time to HEAL and LIVE LIFE TO THE FULL AGAIN!

Mineral Deficiency Is Like Living with the Lights Dimmed

What Is Mineral Balancing?

(For educational purposes only. This is not intended to diagnose, treat, prescribe, or cure any disease or health condition.)

Minerals are the body’s master spark plugs — they fuel every function, from energy production to hormone balance, mental clarity, and stress resilience.

But here’s the problem: modern life depletes them. Poor soil quality, processed foods, stress, and toxin exposure leave many people running on empty without even realizing it.

Mineral Balancing is about restoring the delicate interplay between minerals in your body—because it’s not just about having enough of each mineral, but how they work together.

These relationships determine your energy levels, metabolism, mood, and overall health.

As Dr. Paul Eck, the pioneer of Mineral Balancing, said:

“It’s the relationship between minerals that determines how much energy you will have.”

Why Is Mineral Balancing Important?

Health isn’t just the absence of disease—it’s vibrant energy, mental clarity, and resilience.

While many focus on symptom-based approaches—like detoxing heavy metals, treating gut infections, or taking random supplements—these often miss the bigger picture.

Mineral Balancing takes a systems-based approach

, supporting the body’s natural ability to heal and regulate itself.

Rather than chasing symptoms, we focus on:

✅ Restoring mineral levels and ratios to optimize energy production

✅ Identifying metabolic patterns that reveal how your body handles stress

✅ Addressing underlying imbalances

that contribute to fatigue, brain fog, weight struggles, and more

How Mineral Balancing Helps You Feel Your Best

When minerals are balanced, everything shifts:

More energy—because your cells can actually produce it

✨ Better mood & mental clarity—since minerals influence neurotransmitters

✨ Stronger stress resilience—as minerals regulate adrenal function

✨ Healthier metabolism & weight—because minerals control blood sugar and thyroid function

✨ Deeper restorative sleep—since minerals support nervous system regulation

Your Next Step

If you’re tired of feeling off and are ready to get to the root of your health struggles, Mineral Balancing through HTMA testing can provide the missing piece of the puzzle.

When your body has the minerals it needs, you’re not just surviving—you’re LIVING LIFE TO THE FULL.

It's a big deal, and that is why testing and keeping an eye on our mineral status is more important than ever.

How Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) Works

HTMA is a non-invasive, science-backed test that provides deep insights into your mineral levels, metabolic patterns, and stress response. Here’s what to expect from start to finish:

Step 1: Collecting Your Hair Sample

The process starts with a small hair sample—about 1 tablespoon width of clean, untreated hair cut from the back of your head, near the scalp (new growth gives the most accurate data).

✅ Freshly washed hair (no conditioner, styling products, or dry shampoo)

✅ Colored or treated hair? No problem! Just wait 4-6 weeks after your last treatment.

You’ll receive clear instructions on how to cut and send your sample for testing. Once you purchase a Test and Consultation - you will be mailed out a HAIR Weigh Scale and instructions as well as form and envelope for sample hair and self addressed envelope to be sent into the laboratory.

Step 2: Lab Analysis

Your hair sample is sent to a trusted, CLIA-certified lab , where it undergoes advanced testing to measure the levels and ratios of 21+ minerals and toxic metals in your system.

This analysis gives a 3-month snapshot of how your body has been handling stress, detoxing, and utilizing essential nutrients—insights that standard blood work often misses.

Step 3: Your Personalized HTMA Report

Once your results are in, you’ll receive a detailed, 15+ page report

breaking down:

✔ Mineral levels & ratios (calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium & more)

✔ Metabolic type (fast, slow, or mixed metabolism)

✔ Adrenal & thyroid function (based on mineral patterns)

✔ Signs of mineral deficiencies or excesses

✔ Heavy metal exposure & detox ability

✔ Stress & energy production patterns

✔ Nervous system balance

This isn’t just a list of numbers—it’s a roadmap to understanding your body's unique needs.

Step 4: One-on-One Consultation With Me

Once your results are ready, we’ll go over your report in a private consultation

where I’ll break it all down in simple, actionable steps.

🔍 What this means for YOU—why you feel the way you do

🥦 What foods & supplements will support your mineral balance

💪 What lifestyle tweaks will help optimize your energy & hormones

🚫 What to avoid to prevent further imbalances

You’ll walk away with a clear, customized plan tailored to your metabolism and health goals—so you can stop guessing and start feeling better.

Step 5: Implement & Thrive!

Healing takes time, commitment and ACTION, but HTMA gives you a targeted approach so you’re working with your body, not against it.

Many clients experience noticeable shifts in energy, mood, digestion, and weight within the first 4-6 weeks—and we can retest in a few months to track progress and fine-tune your plan.

Liver Love - Don't Make This Mistake

“The Gut-Liver Connection + The Truth About Bile, Binders & Poop”

When you think about detox, what comes to mind?
Green smoothies? Saunas? Juice cleanses?

Here’s what most people miss:
Your liver doesn’t work alone. It’s part of a detox system — and if your gut isn’t functioning well, your liver can’t do its job.

Let’s break down what’s really happening inside your body and how you can start supporting true detox at the root.

The Gut-Liver Axis: Detox Depends on This Team

Your liver has over 500 jobs, but one of the most important is detoxification. It takes toxins, hormones, and waste products from your blood, processes them through Phases 1 and 2 of detox, and dumps them into bile.

Here’s the problem:
That bile gets sent into your gut — where it’s supposed to bind with waste and move out through your stool.

But if your gut lining is inflamed, if your microbiome is disrupted (like with SIBO, candida, or parasites), or if you’re constipated, something sneaky happens:

👉 Those toxins get reabsorbed through your gut wall and sent right back to the liver.
This creates something called enterohepatic recirculation — a vicious cycle that keeps you feeling tired, inflamed, and hormonally imbalanced.

The Clues: Symptoms of a Blocked Gut-Liver Axis

How do you know if this is happening to you?
Watch for these common signs:

  • Bloating, especially after meals

  • Brain fog, mood swings, anxiety

  • Skin issues like acne, eczema, or rashes

  • Estrogen dominance symptoms (PMS, breast tenderness, painful periods)

  • Chemical sensitivities (perfumes, alcohol, cleaning products)

  • Fatigue that doesn’t budge, even with good sleep

  • Constipation or sticky, hard-to-clean poops

The Power of Bile: More Than Just Fat Digestion

Most people don’t know this — but bile is the primary exit route for toxins.
It carries out mold toxins, heavy metals, estrogen metabolites, and environmental chemicals. If bile is sludgy or production is low, detox halts. Period.

It also plays a major role in:

  • Estrogen clearance: Low bile flow = higher estrogen = PMS, mood swings, fibroids

  • Nutrient absorption: Especially fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K

  • Microbiome balance: Bile has natural antimicrobial effects — it helps keep gut pathogens in check

The Binder Backup Plan: When Bile + Poop Need Help

Even with good bile flow, toxins can stick around. This is where binders come in.

Binders act like a sponge, attracting and trapping toxins in the gut so they don’t get reabsorbed.
Some of my favorites include:

  • Zeolite Clinoptilolite – for heavy metals, mold, and environmental toxins *MY FAVORITE*

  • Activated charcoal – great for histamine, bacteria, and general detox

  • GI Detox or BioToxin Binder – blends designed for broad-spectrum support

👉 These are especially helpful when you're starting a detox, dealing with constipation, or addressing mold or chronic infection.

The One Big Mistake: Skipping Phase 3

In functional medicine, we talk about 3 phases of liver detox:

  1. Phase 1: Bioactivation

  2. Phase 2: Conjugation

  3. Phase 3: Elimination (through bile, stool, and urine)

Most people jump straight into “detox” without making sure their Phase 3 pathways are open.
That’s like turning on a faucet with a clogged drain. You overflow, fast.

You must support elimination before ramping up detox.
That means daily poops, healthy bile flow, and sometimes binder support — before you even think about liver supplements or herbs.

💚 Your Action Steps

Here’s where to start:

✅ Support your gut first (stool testing, antimicrobials, and probiotics may be needed)
✅ Use gentle bile movers: dandelion, ginger, bitters, taurine, or TUDCA
✅ Make sure you’re pooping every day — at least once, ideally twice
✅ Consider binders like zeolite to catch recirculating toxins
✅ THEN look at liver support protocols

You don’t need a fancy detox.
You need a smart detox — and that starts by loving on your gut-liver axis.

My Favorite Gentle Detox Tool – Zeolite Clinoptilolite

One of my favorite tools for supporting safe, daily detox is Zeolite Clinoptilolite — a natural volcanic mineral that works like a sponge for toxins. It binds to heavy metals, mold byproducts, and chemicals in your gut and bloodstream, helping to escort them out of your body through the bowels — without burdening your liver or kidneys.

What I love about zeolite is that it works in Phase 3 detox (elimination), which means it supports the exit pathways we talked about above. It's especially helpful for anyone dealing with fatigue, brain fog, skin issues, or known toxin exposures — and it’s super gentle, making it a great add-in for most people.

👉 I only recommend high-quality, clean Zeolite products that are third-party tested and safe for daily use. If you're curious or want to know which one I trust for myself and my clients, just EMAIL ME AT [email protected] and I’ll send you the information! It's a daily staple for me and my liver.

Safe and Gentle Way to Detox

Detox programs are all the rage, promising quick fixes and miraculous results.

But did you know that diving into a detox without ensuring your minerals are balanced can do more harm than good?

Our bodies naturally detox every day, but this process relies heavily on having the right balance of minerals.

When minerals are out of whack, it can throw our whole system off, making a detox program less effective and potentially harmful.

Think of your body like a finely tuned engine. Without the right fuel and proper maintenance, it can't run smoothly.

Minerals are the key components that keep everything in balance, ensuring that our internal detox processes work as they should.

Before you consider any detox program, take a step back and ensure your body is prepared.

Balancing your minerals is a gentle way to support your body's natural detoxification process every day, without the harsh side effects of many trendy detox plans.

  • Hydrate with Mineral-Rich Water:

Drink plenty of filtered water and consider adding a pinch of unrefined sea salt or trace mineral drops to ensure you're getting essential minerals with your hydration.

  • Incorporate Mineral-Rich Foods:

Include foods high in essential minerals such as leafy greens (kale, spinach), nuts and seeds (almonds, pumpkin seeds), and whole grains (quinoa, brown rice).

  • Optimize Digestive Health:

Support your gut with probiotics and fiber-rich foods to enhance nutrient absorption and overall digestive function. Fermented foods like yogurt, kefir, sauerkraut, and kimchi are excellent choices.

  • Prioritize Restorative Sleep:

Aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep each night. Sleep is crucial for the body’s natural detoxification processes and helps balance hormones and minerals.

  • Engage in Regular Physical Activity:

Exercise helps improve circulation and lymphatic drainage, which aids in the elimination of toxins. Activities like walking, deep breathing, and light resistance training are excellent for supporting gentle detox.

  • Practice Stress Management Techniques:

Chronic stress can deplete essential minerals. Incorporate practices like meditation, deep breathing exercises, and mindfulness to help manage stress levels and support overall well-being.

  • Avoid Processed Foods and Sugars:

Reduce your intake of processed foods, refined sugars, and artificial additives, which can burden the body’s detoxification system. Focus on whole, natural foods instead.

  • Support Liver Health:

Consume foods that support liver function, such as garlic, onions, beets, and cruciferous vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower). These foods contain compounds that aid in detoxification pathways.

  • Regular Mineral Check-Ups:

Consider regular HTMA testing to monitor your mineral levels and adjust your diet and supplementation as needed. Personalized consultations can help tailor a plan specific to your body’s needs.
