Stop guessing. Start understanding what your body may be trying to tell you.
Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis, also known as HTMA, is a non-invasive mineral and heavy metal screening test that helps us look at long-term patterns in mineral balance, stress chemistry, metabolism, and toxic metal trends.
If you feel tired, inflamed, anxious, bloated, stuck with weight, or like your hormones have turned into a tiny circus with poor management, HTMA can help us stop throwing random supplements at symptoms and start building a more targeted plan.
You may benefit from HTMA testing if you:
Feel tired even after sleeping
Wake up wired, anxious, or already exhausted
Struggle with stubborn weight, puffiness, or inflammation
Feel like your hormones, mood, or cravings are running the show
Deal with bloating, constipation, loose stools, or poor digestion
Get muscle cramps, tension, headaches, or restless sleep
Have “normal” labs but still feel far from normal
Have taken birth control, antibiotics, restrictive diets, or lots of supplements
Feel like you have tried everything, but something deeper is still missing
HTMA does not diagnose disease. It gives us a functional map of mineral and toxic metal patterns so we can better understand what your body may need for energy, stress resilience, metabolism, digestion, and hormone support.
HTMA is a non-invasive screening test that analyzes the mineral content and toxic metal levels found in a small hair sample.
Unlike bloodwork, which often reflects what is happening in the bloodstream at that moment, hair testing can offer a longer-term look at mineral and toxic metal patterns over the previous few months. I use it as one piece of the bigger picture, alongside your symptoms, history, lifestyle, nutrition, stress load, and, when available, bloodwork.
HTMA can help us look at patterns related to:
Key minerals like calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, zinc, copper, phosphorus, and iron
Important mineral ratios connected to stress, metabolism, blood sugar, thyroid, and adrenal patterns
Toxic metal trends like mercury, lead, arsenic, aluminum, cadmium, and uranium
Signs of mineral depletion, poor elimination, stress chemistry, and metabolic imbalance
HTMA can give us clues about why your body may feel stuck, especially when symptoms are scattered and your regular labs do not explain the whole picture.
Minerals like sodium, potassium, magnesium, and calcium can give us insight into stress chemistry, energy production, and whether your body may be running more depleted, wired, or slowed down.
HTMA helps us look at minerals and ratios connected to blood sugar handling, thyroid patterns, adrenal stress, inflammation, and whether the body may be under-recovered or under-nourished.
Minerals do not replace hormone testing, but they strongly influence hormone communication, stress response, sleep, mood, and detox pathways.
Low phosphorus, sodium, zinc, or other mineral patterns may point toward poor protein digestion, low stomach acid tendencies, or nutrient absorption stress.
HTMA can show toxic metal patterns and possible mobilization trends. This matters because heavy metals may interfere with mineral function, but detox support should always be done carefully and in the right order.

Because I do not hand you a test result and say, “Have fun now being a little mineral detective.”
As a Functional Health Coach, HTMA Practitioner, and Certified Personal Trainer, I help you understand what your results actually mean and how they connect to your real life: your symptoms, stress, sleep, food, movement, digestion, hormones, and energy.
My approach blends:
HTMA mineral and ratio interpretation
Functional nutrition
Nervous system and stress support
Fitness that matches your current capacity
Practical habits you can actually follow
Education so you understand the “why,” not just the “what”
You do not need another random protocol. You need a clear plan that works with your body, not against it.

"HTMA helped me finally understand why I felt so depleted."
After years of fatigue and being told her labs were “normal,” this client used HTMA to better understand mineral patterns that may have been connected to her low energy. She felt educated, supported, and more confident following her mineral balancing plan.
JH
“I never realized how much minerals could connect to mood, hormones, and weight.”
This client felt like HTMA helped connect the dots between mineral patterns, mood, hormone symptoms, and metabolism. She appreciated having support through the ups and downs of mineral balancing instead of trying to figure it out alone.

Order Your HTMA Package
Choose your first test or retest package. Once your order is complete, you will receive next steps for your hair collection kit.
Collect Your Hair Sample at Home
You will receive clear instructions for collecting a small hair sample. No salon visit, no needles, no awkward “what do I do with this tiny envelope” panic.
Lab Analysis
Your sample is sent to the lab for mineral and toxic metal analysis.
Full Report and Consultation
Once your results are ready, I create your personalized report and walk you through what your mineral patterns may suggest, how they connect to your symptoms, and what we will prioritize first.
Personalized Support Plan
You receive a customized plan with nutrition, lifestyle, supplement, mineral, and movement guidance based on your results and your real life.

What exactly does HTMA test for?
HTMA measures minerals and toxic metals found in a small hair sample.
I use it to look at tissue-level patterns related to mineral balance, stress chemistry, metabolic tendencies, and possible toxic metal exposure trends.
It does not diagnose disease, but it can provide helpful clues that we interpret alongside your symptoms, lifestyle, history, and other labs when available.
Can HTMA help with fatigue, weight issues, or hormones?
HTMA can help us explore mineral patterns that may contribute to fatigue, stubborn weight, cravings, poor sleep, stress intolerance, hormone symptoms, and digestive issues.
Minerals influence energy production, blood sugar, thyroid function, adrenal stress response, detox pathways, and hormone communication.
So when minerals are off, the whole system can feel off.
Is HTMA accurate and legit?
HTMA is a legitimate laboratory screening tool for measuring minerals and toxic metals in hair, but it should be interpreted carefully and in context.
Hair testing has strengths because it may reflect longer-term mineral and metal patterns, but it also has limitations, including possible external contamination from hair products, environment, water, and treatments.
That is why I do not use HTMA as a stand-alone diagnosis. I use it as part of a bigger functional picture that includes your symptoms, history, lifestyle, nutrition, and other labs when available.
How do I collect my hair sample?
It is simple and takes just a few minutes.
You will collect a small amount of clean, untreated hair from the back of your head, close to the scalp.
Your kit includes step-by-step instructions and a hair weight scale so you know exactly how much to collect.
If scalp hair is not available, body hair may be an option, but we will discuss the best sample type for your situation.
